Boating Safety Rules
1) If you have any doubts about your ability to swim if you have an accident we will provide you with a life jacket.
2) Large cruisers use the river and will always slow down when near to you. The rule of the river is Keep to the Right
3) Do not pick other passengers once you have left our landing stage.
4) When going downstream from the Bath Boating Station do not go below the second bridge (Pulteney Bridge) There is a weir below the bridge which can be dangerous.
5) Do not swim from the boats.
6) Many boating accidents happen when people have been drinking. One person should be in charge of the boat and not drink any alcohol
7) If you get into any sort of difficuity the crews of the river cruisers will always help you.
